For prevention and treatment of acetonemia (ketosis) in dairy cattle. Propylene Glycol is very palatable. Up to 10% in feed is acceptable to dairy cows. As a treatment for ketosis, this product does not mask the presence of complicating infections and possesses a low toxicity. Propylene Glycol does not destroy rumen microorganisms, and does not leave undesirable residues after oxidation.
